position of waiting until the ACC announced its season before calling theirs.
Then, they conveniently allow only in-conference play, relegating to oblivion this year's rivalry games between a number of ACC/SEC programs.
All of which boded well for their premier program: Bamaramaslamajama!
Of course, having an ace-in-the-hole depends upon the player's ability to use that ace....Use your own imagine to determine my confidence in Swofford's talents in that regard.

The ACC planned to play eleven games (both conference and OOC games). The schedule included two bye weeks and an earlier start date while the $EC was busy re-shuffling schedules to protect its best teams.
Because of fear of COVID or just fear), some teams are now only playing ten games just like the $EC.
