John Henry Bonham passed 40 years ago today. An absolutely legendary musician who happened to play percussion. If you care to, the link will allow you to sample one of many live recordings to sample his talents, both solo and within a special group chemistry. Truly special stuff!!

Was reminded of this on the radio today. Lost a legendary drummer and basically lost Led Zeppelin as they would not continue without John. RIP
