Agreed, Kelly saying he did not get a fair shot is ridiculous. I really do support his transfer, but he was given a whole season, and the start of this season to prove himself to be better than TL.

That is the truth, HJ was not ever given a shot and I always thought he was or could have been the starter before Young Thor arrived. Certainly he was ahead of Ole Throw it in the Dirt Cooper.

I remember seeing that Kelly admitted to not taking his job seriously until last season. If that's true, what about his first 2 years on the team? I find it hard to vouch for a guy that didn't take any personal responsibility to prepare for the day when he would assume the starter role, unless he just assumed it'd be dropped in his lap (which it was). So with that said, it's really no wonder that Trevor passed him by as quickly as he did.
