I watched the first 2 episodes that were free. Thought is was pretty good. Havn't signed up for the you tube red free trial yet to watch the the rest of the season. I assume that there will be multiple season or just one. Karate Kid is one on my favorite movies. I personally liked Karate Kid 2 the best (live or die man)..

I watched the first 2 free episodes and am sorely tempted to get the 30-day Red trial just to watch the rest. It is better than I thought, although I kind of want to punch adult Danny in the face. Hopefully his character gets less cheeseball as episodes go forward.

started shrinking about midway through. At that point the character of the show really shifted, as it was obvious there would be no season two. It was still a good show.
As for Cobra Kai, it is very entertaining with the perfect balance of nostalgia and new plot content. The acting is great outside of one character(Robby)as the new cast really take up the entire feel of the older movies while making it more modern.
The only slight criticism I have is that it is a bit too comedic. The older Karate kid had a few laugh lines, but the Cobra Kai series is reverting a bit to the teen comedy genre that didn't really exist in the same way back in the 80's.
Still, I urge anybody between 42 and 55 to give it a try.

Best dialogue I’ve seen/heard in about 10 years. Hilarious! They were able to sneak in under the radar before the SJWs knew it would be a hit so they could destroy it. Johnny’s lines were awesome. I can just see some idiots complaining and destroying the essence of what makes His character so great. He’s got some very quotable lines. This will be a cult classic.
