If UGA beats LSU why wouldn’t we be ranked above them?

The committee says they value common opponents:
We beat TAMU by 14 and they beat them by 6
We beat USuC by 35 and they LOST to them at home
Yes they would have some good wins with LSU and ND but we didn’t have the opportunity to play those teams so who knows what we would have done. Plus we have no losses and their loss to USUC is horrible.

we beat them by 14 when we were playing our worst football of the season. Our passing game was sketchy at best back then. I'd love to play them this weekend with everything running at top speed and also more than 1 week of film on them.

Pretty well unanimously agreed UGA cannot pass undefeated Clemson. They would finish #3 and LSU #4.

IF, and this is a BIG IF, UGA beats LSU, I think LSU is out, OSU stays at 1 if the win the Big 10, we move to 2, if we win the ACC, UGA is 3 and the committee will pick a one loss Pac 12 or 1 loss Big 12 Conference Champion in over a 1 loss non-conference winning SEC team. They took to much heat when they put 2 SEC teams in last time this happened, and both OU and Utah pass the eye test, and even Baylor has a good chance. However, I don't think there's anything to worry about, LSU beats UGA most likely and the Dawgs are done. As they should be...

We should be two with UGA three. If this happens, the folks in Atlanta will be crying if the game is sent to Arizona.

UGa isn't going to beat LSU , so don't worry about scenarios .
Dawgs have an anemic offense and their best RB looks gimpy now .
Plus Kirby ... big game coach that he is . He'll Kirby . Their defense is solid but they're gonna need to score against a team like LSU and their offensive capabilities .
