There is some NCAA rule about teams not using electronics during games. However when he was sick last year Hugh Freeze coached from another spot in the press box. Not sure how that was allowed.

A press box just for TE works fine for me. Put a CFP official in there to make sure he doesn't have any advantages.

Better yet, why can’t we pretend to be the Big 10, and change rules accordingly to benefit our team? Guarantee they’d find a way to get their OC there.

NCAA rules don't allow a coach sitting out covid to have contact with the team during the game.
