Unless college is different than pro, that doesn't matter unless it's touched. If it goes foul but comes back and crosses over 1st base, it's a fair ball. I think that one was too close (from angles shown) to overturn - it looked like it could've been over the bag.

I seriously have never heard that. So a ball can bounce foul twice but cross the bat and be fair? I learned something tonight. I’ve always believed it’s where it bounced.

It has to touch the ground in fair territory. If it hit foul and never fair then foul ball. But yes a ball can first hit foul and then bounce fair before the bag and it will ball

This is not true. The ball must hit fair before the bag at any point to be a fair ball

Not true. It has to hit between home and the bag. Doesn't say whether fair or foul.

I think that ball did hit fair territory, but I honestly couldn't see. But it doesn't matter - at that point, what matters is where it crosses the bag. Have seen before line drive hit foul but hits a rock, careens toward the field side of the bag into the outfield and it's a fair ball. This one was perhaps as tricky as one I've seen. But I don't think they had enough to reverse it.
