I am very rarely on Tigernet anymore. I hover and read occasionally but very infrequently engage. The climate changed years ago and many of the old guard - like myself - quietly left.
I was wrong to call out Carlsbad. I don't think I was wrong for how I believed he was treating others and myself. I still believe he acted like a jerk, but me acting like a bigger jerk was not cool. I know better. I should act better.
I long for the days of extended and polite discourse on all topics. Not insults and memes.
I was wrong and became like that which I was critical of and made a fool of myself.
I apologize to those who had to read that nonsense. In the future, I hope people like Carlsbad will engage with those that disagree with good manners and decorum. I hope they handle it if he doesn't better than I did.
