Education" that one of my old high school math teachers kept in plain sight in the classroom. And, yes, it did get used from time to time. She would be immediately fired nowadays, but I don't think it did anyone any harm. The punishment was more than warranted by the time she employed that tool. Spurtle indeed.

Cause I don't know if I'm ok with phrases like "I spurtled mayo on my sandwich" or "Francis Marion® is in there spurtling again" or "I spurtled too much on this and now it's everywhere".

I never heard about them until I saw the commercials during our game. Now I'm starting to see Lucinda Scala Quinn hawking these on other stations. I wonder how she feels about the plastic ones.
