Hey coach, I do want to take advantage of the Red-shirt rule.

What do you think about me staying on the team and running the scout team again. That way I can stay in shape, continue to get coaching, and work on improving my game before transferring. I could even wear the headset on the sideline during games and be there to help Trevor as he continues to learn our system.

This way I can support the team the rest of the season, without jeopardizing my last year of eligibility. Then I'll transfer to my new school in January, to maximize my time in the new system.

Jimmy Greenbeans has the scout team QB position locked down. Coaches offerred KB the option to stay on the team, practice, and not play in that 5th game if he so chose. He decided on a different option.

His pride or ego would not permit him to do that. It would have been the very best decision he could have made if he was determined to transfer when no longer the initial QB on the field. He must have pouted a bit after the GT game for the disproportionate number of snaps/series between himself and TL. I hope if he did it was private and did not implant a poisonous attitude within the team. If that occurred, he was a 'wrecker' and not the leader.
I am hopeful Dabo and the staff have addressed that matter with everyone.
And I wish Kelly Bryant every future success for he has to make the best choice for himself and his future. Time will tell if he did that.
