The inauguration of a new president should be a very patriotic day

Put aside your party politics and reflect on how awesome our country is (inB4, we are about to be socialists)

Regardless of who is in office, the position should be respected by everyone

I’m probably germaning myself here, but I’d love to see a time where athletes and stars and anybody aren’t turning down an opportunity to meet the president

Is Biden my favorite? No
Would I turn down a chance to shake the hand of the sitting president? Hayull no
Is Trump my favorite? No
Would I have turned down the opportunity to shake his hand while he was in office? Again Hayull no

MAGA to me means getting back to our core values and being respectful and loving your neighbor no matter what

I think we are sliding further and further from that due to people being asswholes to each other over politics
