On one hand I think it is important to understand how ugly war is.

on the other hand he may not be able to comprehend fully what he's watching.

option for Americans.

On the other hand a socially inept 13 yr old that's fat and has poor parents and is on his iphone 11 all day should probably be outside hunting or fishing or playing basketball or tossing a baseball with his dad on nice Memorial Day weekend.

No. Make him go outside.

he's been watching Pulp Fiction from an early age like he should have been, the premium pR0n like Saving Ryan's Privates should be the next logical step.

We were asked to go see Schindler's List in high school

May 23, 2014, 12:27 PM

Our Government teacher had an interesting grading system - 50% based on quizzes, 40% based on random tasks, 10% based solely on whether or not he liked you. The random tasks would be anything from "see this significant movie, show me the ticket stub and answer a question about it" to "visit this place of some historical/cultural/local significance" or (my and Lakebum's favorite) "observe the local traffic court proceedings, one session per quarter, have your copy of the docket signed by the clerk and turn it in." Tasks ranged anywhere from 1 point to 8 points, depending on what it was.

My senior year in high school is when Schindler's List came out. Naturally it was on the list of things we could do for points. You wouldn't believe the bitching some of the parents made about how inappropriate it was for a teacher to ask 17- and 18-year-olds to watch the movie.

When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So, let's all get drunk, and go to heaven!

No, the content is not appropriate for anyone that age.

My wife and I were very careful with our boys. It has worked out well, IMHO.

I have no problem with my 13 year old watching it
