And got pinged to go to Vance Hammonds place and picked up Chuck O'brien. He was headed to the airport. I asked chuck if it would be ok to mention that i picked him up and talked to him and he said that was fine.

It was a 30 min trip. We talked football and i asked him a few questions and he mentioned he went to the wake game. He talked alot about his time at Clemson, how much he enjoyed playing with his teammates and how he remembered meeting Junior Seau with the chargers. He talked about how great a defense the 91 team was and i agreed. So many big names on that team.

He never once sounded arrogant or rude in any way. He was super nice, polite and just so easy to talk to. Me? I was so nervous. I wasnt sure what to say to be honest. I chatted best i could but i was so busy taking it in that i probably sounded like a moron.

But after all the conversation about football, 1 thing really struck me. This was a really stand up classy guy. I couldn't help but think that i wish i was half the guy this guy was. About as nice a guy as you could ever meet. Im very serious. He was so genuine, authentic and put together. I was throughly impressed with him. I really appreciated his time talking to me and it makes you proud to be a tiger fan and have my sons attend such a wonderful university.
