I trust Dabo on hiring the right people

His hires through the years have been beyond my expectations

*Billy Napier '09-'11 - Offense was lower tier in the nation

*Hired Chad Morris '11-'14 even after complaints/concerns of many because he was just one year out of high school coaching. Became one of the nations most potent offenses in nation.

*Hired Jeff Scott and Tony Elliot '15-Present to replace Morris with uncertainty how Co-Offensive Coordinators would work. We all know how that worked out with a National Championship only into their second season.



*Kevin Steele '09-'11- One of the worst defenses in the nation

*Hired Brent Venables '12-Present - Became one of the top (if not actually the top) defenses in the nation. The rest speaks for itself


Dabo knows how to and who to hire. I am not worried about his choices on who to replace Brooks and Hobby

weren't one of the worst defenses in the nation statistically speaking under him.

Also, Napier had a good year of offense(scoring wise), and he was 09-10.

09- 28th in PPG, 74th YPG
10- 84th PPG, 88th YPG

Steele

09 - 20th YPG, 25th PPG
10 - 19th YPG, 13th PPG
11 - 70th YPG, 81st PPG

We must remember that at that time, he was limited as to who he could hire because of money. Some of the hires might have been because that was the best he could get for the money. That seems to no longer be an issue.
