No. They are not going to get out of a Clemson home game. We did enough of that from the start of this till the 1960's.

By not hosting S.C. for a game Clemson loses at least $7 million dollars. If the games is played in Columbia next year something must be done concerning the revenue disparity. Clemson would not make as much money from a reduced capacity stadium this year, but no game means no revenue. The SEC could have prevented that situation.

It is my understanding that the Gamecocks were the only SEC school that voted to play a 10+1 schedule that would have allowed the four ACC/SEC end of the year rivalry games to be played. The other three, Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky voted against the 10+1 schedule.
