time does he get and how many more embarrassments as a program must we endure? First the Orange Bowl and now this? And I'm not even counting the four losses in a row to our in-state rival because at least those weren't individually embarrassing losses. I am not saying fire Dabo now as some are, but I think there's a little more thought and concern necessary than is being shown by others (who seem to be chalking this up to a bad day).

That game last night is the very reason a school like Alabama will never hire a guy like Dabo.

You're not going to find a better coach in the country than Dabo Swinney.

So who would you rather have, Saban? Miles? Look at the scandal that surrounds those coaches. Dabo has come in here and not only transformed the program but has done it the right way. He's done everything possible to get Clemson going in the right direction and last I checked, one bad loss isn't going to change it. Just like that WVU loss didn't have any effect on our NC hopes this season. Not only will Dabo continue to have this team one of the best in the country but he'll continue to do it with class. So yes, there is no coach in the country that I'd rather have than Dabo Swinney.

This will be long! Maybe it's Morris that needs to go. I'm beginning to think he might be more of an distraction(with all the talk about him becoming a HC somewhere) than a good offensive minded coach. Then again maybe Venables needs to go.After all he is no Bob(or is it Mike)Stoops. Oh wait,he trained under him ,didn't he? Better yet,why not fire our new A.D.who somehow finds himself on the new collegiate board that will determine which four teams play for the N.C. starting in 2014. At least he won't have to worry about Clemson, which once again demonstrated they are a good team, but not an elite team.So why do we need him? The trainers, and the waterboys.Let's not forget them either.Hey,we need more Gatorade over here. Finally, lets put the blame where it really belongs.I think we need to fire all those TigerNeters who year in and year out think nothing short of an undefeated N.C season will save a coaches job. Refresh my memory please. How many undefeated N.C. Championships have we had in say the last 32 years? Sorry if you think I am being a smart a(s)s because that is exactly what I am being. Look, beating LSU,and UGA back to back were good wins, but that does not exactly make you a team capable of winning a N.C. Look,Clemson got exposed last night. It wasn't the first time, and it won't be the last. The problem is not the coaching staff, nor the AD,or even the waterboy. It's recruiting. You can recruit all the 4 -5 star skilled athletes you want, but until you get an o-line ,and a d-line that can impose their will on teams that are definitly more physical ( like that team we played last night.I forgot their name)this is what you will get. Does anybody here really think, after watching last night that we would even have a chance against LSU,A&M, Florida or the Coots. Oh wait, they all lost yesterday.Wonder if there fans are asking how much more time does their head coach get?

Way to go Leftie! Could not agree more! Number one priority! Control the line of scrimmage! Dabo needs to go get Danny (A former OL coach) to identify the talent and then go get it!
Dabo must close that deal or we will never be a true factor.

Agree with everything you said - almost. I know everyone is disappointed, but you need to live in reality. I am no football guru, but I do pay attention, watch Clemson every week and watch the other teams too. I did not feel we were number 3 in the country. I felt we were a top 10 team, but number three? No. And we're not. But we still have a GOOD team, and I do think we can beat USC. But equally or even more disturbing to me is how some people just turn vicious to our own players and coaches. It's fun to win. It's fun to be a fan for a team that is doing well, dominating. We're proud to be a part of that group. But I hear all the time about it being more than that....about how Clemson has CLASS. Some of the things I've heard are NOT classy. They are just plain selfish. I'm not saying to be satisfied with mediocrity and I don't think this coaching staff is. But my God, these players are young kids. Some of them are playing just because they love it. Some are playing because they hope to go further and are trying to make a future doing this. They are under the spotlight. How in the world do you think it feels to know that game might have cost you the future you were hoping to have? To go from Heisman candidate to being called "garbage", etc. To be embarrassed on national TV - for all the players and coaches. Not to mention the weight of having the fan base disappointed and feel you failed. They are trying to pick themselves up. They wanted to win too....I'm sure more than any of us. They had a lot more riding on that game than any of us did...for us, it was just for fun. Some people just have no compassion. And I say this for the players more than the coaches...they are paid to do a job and it is understandable to want results. But IMO the defense HAS improved. We have work to do to get to the next level, and I do agree we need more strength on the lines...it starts there. OK, now you can go ahead and pound me too.

I'd much rather get blown out by the best team in the country than lose to a team like Tennessee.

Notice that every team that runs the Spread has its game where it can not get anything going? Live by the spread, die by the spread. The only exception to that rule has been Tebow @ Florida, but their spread was heavily run based and pass complimented. No one else has won national titles running the modern Spread. Oregon won any national titles? Oklahoma state? You can make the list as long as you like.

What has a big name like Spurrier done for the coots - nothing! I am all for Dabo and what he has done for Clemson - he has put this team back on the map
