They give us Carrie Underwood sitting on a couch in a miniskirt. They say to discuss the show but will any heterosexual man actually hear a thing she says?

I agree. It was so intense I was wanting it to hurry up and end. The best one ever in my opinion. The whole episode was action.

It'll take two episodes just to put all the spent zombies in a pile.

this show is a cheap soap opera. Grow a pair, read some literature and say again why you like this?

People like to be entertained, despite the venue or premise.

Case in point: The Ace Venturer movies were roundly and soundly panned by critics, all of whom doubted the intelligence levels of folks spending good money to patronize the shows.
What those "intelligent" types didn't understand was human nature: sometimes, people like good belly laughs without a necessity of some latent, moralistic theme. Hence, why Jim Carrey's goofiness was such a hit.
The Walking Dead is entertainment built upon a ridiculous premise that accomplishes the same goal: people enjoy it simply because it ENTERTAINS! lol

I watched the original episode and I never cared to watch again . Zombie shows are zombie shows are zombie shows . I think the entertainment value of the zombie has absolutely run its course .

After watching the show so long, I can say that character development is pretty awesome for several of the cast. Tv series can afford to develop these people with the hours and hours they have to work with...much easier than a movie can.
The show feels less like its about walkers and more about surviving a baron wasteland where even the living want what you have. The living can be less human than the dead and more often steal the spotlight. To each their own though ?

Bingo. The graphic novels are typical zombie stuff

The tv show has far more drama and charter development. The zombie is just the circumstance they happen to be in. Zombies are the environment, the story is within the people.
