Something was just off in Death Valley from the get go. The crowd didn't seem into it. There was no electricity in the valley like there was for the UGA game.
Watching FSU warm up, they looked like a team. They stretched and warmed up with a purpose. It was down to a science. They looked loose and on a mission.
Last week many of us, myself included, thought Jameis was too relaxed and cocky before the game. The truth hurts but I can now admit that what we saw in him scared the crap out of us. Who is this kid who has no fear? Well last night we found out. What we saw in him and resented is something we wish we had. Sure we'll beat good teams every now and then but in my lifetime as a Clemson fan we have never been a team with killer instinct. Whether FSU is having an up or down year, they are FSU. They have that swag.

long as he is there. I sensed something was off on TV right when the broadcast started. I think we may have bought the hype a little bit this time, and FSU came with purpose. The fact is, they average about a star better in recruiting at every position, and it showed. They only needed 4 guys to pressure Boyd every play, and their DBs could hang with our receivers in press coverage no problem. I'm not ashamed to lose to a better team, I just hate not putting our best game out there.
