ESPN's CFB coverage/SEC lovefest.

I'm not really sure why I let it bother me, as it's to be expected, but ESPN's CFB coverage if truly laughable. In their rundown of the AP top 10, teams not in the SEC were simply skipped over and not discussed. I suppose non SEC teams are irrelevant now. I hope Dabo and Co. kick the $hit out of the leghumpers, but even then I'm sure ESPN will spin it as a fluke. Go Tigers!

article, the espn writer even acknowledged that the public lets espn know of their bias towards the sec, yet it continues. that to me is poor management, plain and simple. does anyone know if espn is a stock company or not, just curious.

tell me what conference is not top heavy. do you think wake and duke and boston college is as good as fsu and us? be real! the sec has won 7 NC in a row. sure espn is going to hype them they WON! how is that hard to understand? why does wccp not promote the coots? because their market is CLEMSON, for gods sake. they are a stones throw from the college. espn is a national market and shows what people nationally want to see, who WON!! do you really think they will hype us when our bcs record is 3-14? you guys as tiger fans hate the sec and espn because of uscu and that they win, and you just will not admit it. just my opinion.

It's a news program. News is supposed to be unbiased, although that is rarely the case. It is just supposed to present the facts, maybe discuss them, but not clearly spend 2/3rds of the show talking about one conference, and leave the other third for all of the rest of the conferences combined.

I don't know why you guys give ESPiN any attention at all.

ESPiN will sell, 'why the SEC is the best conference and being in the SEC makes any particular member better than any non-member,' until the cows come home.
They sell it to anybody who will watch their programing.
I never watch anything on TV live except Clemson Football. I even record other games and watch them with the remote in my hand so I can mute and FF through commercials. That's exactly how I view CFL (College Football Live) on ESPiN and other programs pertaining to college sports.
I don't waste my time on commercials especially the CFL when they are selling SEC football.
Record, FF and mute are good tools to avoid commercials.

On College Football Daily Thursday, they mentioned that the sec has won the last 7 BCS titles 2 times in the first 3 minutes of the program.

they never say which schools.bama has three, auburn has one.florida has two and i think lsu has one. so of those 7 titles they tout so much are only between 4 schools. it just proves what bob stoops said to be true.that conference is top heavy

4 schools out of one conference when the other conferences put together have none makes a good case for the SEC.

Actually it makes a good case for those four teams not the rest of the teams that haven't won any. Also Cam Newton and auburn are somewhat of an outlier

Sorry, I can't agree when one fourth of a conference has won the last 7 NC's in a row that anybody could make a case that any other conference is better. That just makes no sense to me. Especially when all the other conference teams put together have 0.

I don't see anyone saying any conference is better just that the s_e_c is over hyped and Texas a&m proved they are not as good overall as some would think.

I didn't enjoy the USC return to glory with leinart bush white etc but I respected it. All you saw on espn was Oregon USC stuff because the unique offense and the resurgence of a historically strong program.
No different now. The sec is loaded, has been and has proven on the field. There isn't an even matchup from top to bottom in the bowl games that puts an equal conference finisher against an equal sec team. They are all lopsided look it up. That is espn that is bowl matchup wanting money and viewers. She they so. Those battles or at least make it a good game they prove what is on t v that the sec is superior at least for now.
Clemson has a chance to change that in the 1st and last week of the season. If that happens then They will face a 3rd in the nat champ game

It will show you better if take any conference and put it in order from best to worst and then take the SEC and put them in order from best to worst and match them up that way.
