I hate "Coach" Steve Spurrier, but having lost my mother to cancer and my father to Alzheimer's, I NEVER hope to hear of retirement because of health issues.

health issues = reasonable reason to retire mid-season
no health reasons = petulant quitter and reputation ruined.

Even the coots deserve better than this. Columbia has had a pretty crappy October.
