when my daughter was born.

I didn't cry when my son was born.

I cried last night.

The thought of 36 years of ups and downs. Men and Women who have been wearing orange since I have been born. I'm a young buck, but I remember well the Bowden years when the thought of a National Championship was a distant dream meant for somebody else because we were too busy blowing games we should have easily won.

I remember being upset that Dabo was named head coach instead of a proven winner.

I remember wishing Dabo would be fired after losing to USUCK all of those times.

I remember being excited about Sammy and Nuk and CJ and Jacoby and others coming to town.

I remember wondering what all of the fuss about Tajh was (still do).

This program has come a long ways in 8 years. Many older Clemson fans might have thought they would never see another one in their lifetime (as this is the first one in mine). As Deshaun said last night, this win is for the university, the team, the coaches, and the fans.

Here's to the next one. It won't be 36 years in the future.
