Streaming service for sports?

May 9, 2017, 12:02 PM

So it seems like most people I know are moving away from cable and going with streaming services. My only beef is, what about sports? I know you can get the watch ESPN app, but do you guys know of a way to watch local sports live without cable?

Ive done sling, PSVUE and now DTVN. all offer all the espn's and fox sports channels. For local stuff I've got an antenna and it's a great picture.

haven't missed one game in 2 yrs

get the blue package with sling, it has all the fox sports channels as well as nfl network, acc network, ESPN, and watch espn come with the orange package. both cost you 40 per month together.

just log onto their website, they have a breakdown of all the packages. The great part is you can add or remove channel line ups at any time and they pro rate your bill down to the day.

I have the $35 package of PS Vue. It has all the majors, plus the Big10 network (for guys like me). Nothing for CBS though so I have to use an OTA antenna for NFL games.

PlaystationVue for me

$35/month if you want all the sports channels including espnu. It has all the other channels you need like TNT, AMC, etc. Two days after the national championship I canceled it as there's no commitment required. The last week of August I'll turn it back on.

I got the Amazon firebox so I could run an Ethernet line from the firebox to the modem. It never buffered one single time.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.
