ACC stays with 8 game schedule and adds +1

My question is why didn't we do a +2? Clemson will play that schedule regardless, so why not make everyone? Isn't 2 cupcakes enough?

I have always thought with the 5 conference format we should have 8 conference games and 1 game against a team from every other conference.

ideally that would be a good idea, but if we wanted to keep SC as a permanent rival we would never play another SEC team in the regular season again. Also issues would arise because not all power conferences have the same number of teams.

With us, we have to have a cup cake or an off date before usuc. Rest assure slurrier will have one or the other before he plays us. In fact, he was doing that long before we started it.

teams that are trying to make the playoffs should schedule 10 teams from the power conferences, however a lot of teams are only hoping to make a bowl game so 9 is better.
