Well, we did lose 7 games that year - including the bowl game. A program like Clemson should NEVER lose 7 games playing who we play.

And I do have to disagree about the sarcasm involving giving the backup QB playing time. There is absolutely nothing wrong with playing a backup when your starter is clearly rattled, especially when your backup has proven himself to be more than adequate.
