Hypothetical question about last night...

Dec 4, 2016, 8:59 PM

How different would that game have been had Dorian not been ejected?? I personally think we would have held on to the blow out.. He is probably our best coverage LB..

Their first scoring drive wouldn't have happened ...

... that entire drive was penalty aided and wouldn't have happened without the targeting penalty.

If they don't score at that point, I'm not sure that they don't check out psychologically.

Getting that score revived them when they were about ready to be routed.

Losing O'Daniel hurt us badly at that position on defense for the rest of the game, and letting them score at that point when they were not playing well changed the complexion of the game.

I still cannot figure out why Dorian chose to hit him high like that. He was in perfect position just to make a solid tackle while hitting him lower. That was super dumb on his part IMO. He's usually one of the standouts on D, and I love to watch the guy play. That hurt tremendously and even the fans felt it.

It hurt badly. Without his ejection, they don't score either their first touchdown or the one that Jalen gave up in the 4th quarter.

And what would have happened if we had scrapped the "cover 11" play?
