Hyatt was a 5 Star OL commit, but

Dec 20, 2017, 5:19 PM

others could pass it off as Legacy. Carman will mean what CJ meant to recruiting RB's,what Sammy meant to recruiting WR's and what Boyd meant to recruiting QB's.The last hurdle was crossed today

Good points

Agree. To go into the Northeast and get the number 1 lineman

Dec 20, 2017, 5:28 PM

from the state of Ohio no less, opens many future doors.

Ohio isn't really the northeast, but I may be splitting hairs here.

I'm sure a New Yorker would be quick to say it's Midwest.***

New Hampshire here. Ohio is definitely midwest.

New Hampshire here as well. Ohio is definitely midwest. "Northeast" to people that live in the northeast is like NY/NJ and north of that.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

More like Mideast.

No way is Ohio over the halfway longitude line of the U.S. Think about it.

I would say Deshaun for QB, not so much Boyd

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Boyd was a consensus Top 5, MVP of the Army All

Dec 20, 2017, 5:56 PM

American game coming out of HS. Yeah, DW may be a slightly better example here, but Boyd is not a bad one. Boyd was the first super high profile QB we'd had in years, and probably paved the way for DW.

Agree. Boyd started it.***

Bentley. So, he doesn't count.

Boyd executed the vision of a high powered Clemson offense that helped us get DW.

So, it's an OL recruiting game changer?

I like it.

The pipeline is open! Sorry MRTTMT I just saw this thread pop up when I refreshed my page after posting a similar topic. The Dabo Dynasty is on a roll!

Right back at you sir! This was a huge get both short-term and long-term. There's something in those hills!

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'd say Hyatt generated our rise at the position.

Dec 21, 2017, 1:36 PM

I'm hoping he sticks around another year.

I know Crowder wasn't a 5-star recruit, but he's had a solid career here and looks like a Sunday player to me. I hope he does well in the NFL. That would help our image with OL recruiting.
