How to Impeach a President

Dec 19, 2019, 3:12 PM

1) Have an anonymous whistleblower make up an accusation (keep in mind they don't have to have contact with the president. They can even have 3rd and 4th hand information)

2) Have closed door meetings where the opposition can't call witnesses

4) Selectively leak testimony out of context to make the president look bad

5) Have an impeachment inquiry

6) Call a bunch of partisan witnesses with no first hand knowledge (except for 1)

7) Have witnesses "presume" wrong doings even though the president has told them the opposite

8) Impeach the president because you are in the majority and your caucus is a bunch of dimwit sheep

He blocked several witnesses from testifying and he is still doing everything in his power to keep his financial records from being seen. He’s clearly guilty of everything he’s been accused of doing.

I just approved answers to an interrogatory this morning and we refused 41 of the 45 requests for information.

Just because they ask doesnt mean you give it.

BTW. please provide your home address, social security number and birthdate in your response

Amazing that no other presidential candidate since Nixon has had a problem releasing their tax returns, not even Hilary.

That may be true in a criminal or civil case. But that isn't true between co-equal branches of the govt. This is the first time a President has refused all documents, transcripts and witnesses to Congress without claiming executive privilege. It has never happened before.

Only a intellectually disabled person can't see through this denial of information. This because it contains no exculpatory evidence. As a matter of fact, the Senate wants to shut it all down because they DON'T want those with 1st hand knowledge to testify. They know they will not supply exculpatory evidence.

You are, with respect, comparing apples to tractors. Not the same at all.

Are you f'ing kidding me? What would you do if you were accused of crime after crime and it's not true? First it was Russia.. His staff, family, and associates provided hours and hours of testimony. Him and his family were accused of treason and it was all a hoax. It was all the FBI lying to the FISA court to start the investigations.

Now it's a new hoax with Ukraine. The central accusation was debunked by Trump releasing the call. Shifty Schiff has rigged the whole process. The president was denied counsel. Republicans couldn't call witnesses.

Why the hell would he participate in the newest hoax and unfair proceedings.

haha! Stubborn is in your handle. At least you are being honest about that.

So basically your argument is that Executive Privilege is bad if it has to do with impeachment proceedings? Otherwise it's okay?

I don't have much of an argument other than

Dec 19, 2019, 5:00 PM

Obama was a much better criminal than Trump, assuming the goal of being a criminal is not to be caught.

That much should be obvious at this point.

Nobody is feeling bad for him. What are you talking about.

Who cares if he's being accused of treason, he was born rich!

What kind of argument is that? You're an idiot.

Born rich and his history is littered with lawsuits for stiffing everyone from waiters to lawyers to plumbers and painters.

He’s a piece of trash that should be in jail. Not running the US.

You actually buy all of the ######## that Hannity spews. Let me ask you a question, doesn't it concern you at all that the Reps. primary argument against impeachment, like you've stated, is about "process" rather than the facts of his criminality?

Trump was impeached because he tried to get a foreign country to interfere in his re-election. Don't you care that in an interview IN THE OVAL OFFICE Trump said that he didn't see anything wrong with accepting information from a foreign govt.?

Or is your worship so deep that facts no longer matter to you?
