How many teams would be undefeated with OSU's schedule?

I've made an argument to include Univ. of Southern California in the CFP discussion (should they win the PAC12 and finish 6-0.

Now, I'd like to pose another question, which I think should be asked by the CFP committee:

How many teams could finish 6-0 with Ohio State's schedule?

My guess is 13 (power 5 only)

SEC: Bama, TAMU, UGA, UF
ACC: ND, Clemson, Miami, UNC
Pac12: USC
Big12: Iowa State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas

Your number may be higher or lower, but I bet it's more than 4!

So I want to know if all of those teams were good enough to run the table with OSU's schedule of daunting opponents, how is OSU #4 in the CFP rankings? All of those teams played more games than OSU (except USC, who will also finish 6-0).

Even BYU would've run the table! BYU was 9-0 and went to play another undefeated team on the other side of the continent with 4 days notice. They should've just quit playing after winning 6 games!

What's your number? How many other teams do you think would definitely run the table if they played OSU's 5+1 schedule?

The only way they'd go 6-0 is if they played BYE every week.

I definitely think they are a top 4 team, but I don't think they have played enough games to get in. Fields could have been injured playing more games.

Obviously, it would depend on how all the undefeated teams looked while defeating all those (only six) teams. I believe that “eye test” appears explicitly in the CFP Selection Committee charter.
