How long until they say that this “new strain” isn’t compatible with the vaccine?

Dec 28, 2020, 12:05 PM

You know it’s coming

Is it?

The tune has changed on many things about this situation before

This could easily be changed to

So you ask, I tell you and give you a link, yet you still

Dec 28, 2020, 12:17 PM

don't believe it.

Why not edit your post to "THE NEW MORE CONTAGIOUS COVD STRAIN WILL REQUIRE A NEW VACCINE, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY".

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I was already aware of that report

Dec 28, 2020, 12:22 PM

I’m saying they will change their tune at some point and say something like “vaccine may not be as effective against the new strain as previously thought”.

There’s been so much uncertainly about this whole thing I don’t know how you can confidently say that they will not find new information about the vaccine or the new strain

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Just edit your post.***

TIP.

I love you guys that can predict the future.

As if there wasn't enough current reality to have to deal with.

If this round of $600 checks dont send people

Dec 28, 2020, 12:07 PM

onto the streets, nothing will. Our government is so messed up, its not even funny. We have no idea how to take care of our own. The sad part about it, the States are so broke, they cant take care of their people either.

Now this "new strand" will have them locking us down again for unspecified amounts of time as mental illness, drug/alcohol abuse, undetected illnesses and surgeries are pushed and kill more than the virus.

Great plan.

way a virus mutates makes it less deadly but all the 'scientist,' seem to be focused on is this virus being more contagious.

Per the CDC it's more contagious because it binds more

tightly to the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor. It is unknown whether that tighter binding, if true, translates into any significant epidemiological or clinical differences.

1988,

I am not surprised that you don't understand how evolution (mutation) works.

Only the mutations that increase the virus's survival rate get passed on - because they survive to reproduce.

Re: How long until they say that this “new strain” isn’t compatible with the vaccine?

Dec 28, 2020, 1:06 PM

Until the virus mutates enough to lose the spike protein, the vaccines will work. If COVID somehow loses its spike protein, that mutation will not survive or propagate.

So no big worries from me, for whatever that’s worth. Should be able to get the vaccine soon, looking forward to my new microchip.
