How is Vegas so accurate ?

We were favored by 2.5 (2 from someother books) going in the game and won by 2. Any insight?

and Vegas supposedly sets the line to get equal money on both sides so they win the vig/juice (10%)

It is amazing how football games are starting to be played out - namely the close scores and comebacks. Especially in the NFL. You can almost count on a good team to come back if they get down big in the first half. I've called it in many games - namely NFL games - makes one wonder. Not saying the games are fixed, especially not by the players, but it's uncanny how the theme seems the same in so many games.

I blame it on how big sports have increasingly become each year. There is so much money/viewership/advertising revenue riding on these games. I do sometimes think the zebr@s keep games close for viewership & ad revenue.

They know the better team will probably get a early lead and try to run the clock out in the second half and almost lose.
