How TF does Bama have these guys on their BENCH?

Oh, I'm in the national championship game for the 3rd straight year. My QB isn't performing well at half so I'll just play in my 5-star backup QB from the bench.

And the Dude leads them to a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP?!

I hate Saban & Bama so much, but d-a-m-n-i-t if I don't respect them.

Maybe we can figure that out when we figure out how the #2 ranked QB in the country (which is higher than Tua was rated) sat on our bench behind not 1 but 2 other QBs for over half of the year before even being good enough to move up to the #2 spot.

The real kicker was against Syracuse, when Bryant could barely walk. Dabo only took him out because he had a concussion. Then he put Cooper in, who missed multiple receivers by 10-15 yards. Yet Johnson still didn’t get to play.

I saw all I needed to at that point. As great as our coaches are, they are too hesitant to pull a QB.

I still wonder if that was about controlling Lawrence. HJ or TL with a bum ankle could probably play against the cuse, KB with a bad ankle essentially cuts the playbook in half.
