In May, it was a conspiracy that Fox News portrayed as one of the greatest — if not the greatest — political scandals in American history.
Tucker Carlson called it a "domestic spying operation" that was "hidden under the pretext of national security." Laura Ingraham characterized top Obama administration officials as having been "exposed." And Sean Hannity flatly declared it to be the "biggest abuse of power, corruption scandal" the country had ever seen.
That was in May. But yesterday, the 'unmasking scandal' investigation by Barr quietly ended. With no indictments. The scandal was a nothing burger that Fox pushed to gain and retain viewers in order to garner more ad revenues.
The point is that Fox, via it's prime time lineup, pushes disinformation and conspiracy theories for money. James Murdoch, son of Rupert Murdoch who owns News Corp which owns Fox, resigned from News Corp's board of directors last month citing "News Corp affiliates in the US and Australia push disinformation in order to hide truth."
That's not me, or Dems or anyone, but the son of the owner.
But Fox will and has simply moved on to more lies.

I travel I-85 from Charlotte to Atlanta Probably 10-15 times/year (in a normal year anyway) and will sometimes listen to Rush, Hannity, or any number of right wing talk shows for the entertainment value.
Some of the stuff they talk about is absolutely nuts and they say these things so casually. The callers are even crazier...if that’s even possible.
The thing that amazes me the most are the large number of stations carrying national and local right wing shows at all hours of the day/night. I almost feel sorry for these folks...because if this is what they are exposed to day in and day out, they have just been conditioned/indoctrinated. It’s like a disease.
I say all this as a former Republican...the party left me when they embraced idiots like Rush and got in bed with the evangelicals...the shame is that anyone under 40 doesn’t remember the party when it used to be sane.

Fox and trump are so full of lies and cons it’s almost comical. Don’t try to redirect by saying that the “main stream media” is left, etc. etc. Fox made up the term main stream media as a way to divide the country and distinguish themselves. The bottom line is all media outlets feed us a lot of BS, usually for the purposes of political gain. However, fox and trump go further than BS, they simply and blantantly lie to further their goal of dividing Americans, i.e. divide and conquer. Fox does so for media market share and trump does so to satisfy his narcissist need for power. Period. If you’re too thin skinned and gullible to process this info, then you will likely live the remainder of your life as the victim of a simple con job (FoxNews). Fox and trump introduced that word since they knew it’s not a legal term and therefore trump could never be guilty of “collusion”. Regarding Russian interference, it was an issue, still is an issue and will likely become more of an issue once bob Barr is out of office.
