I ask myself that same question all the time. These guys have been playing FB since they were kids. They know the ins and outs of the game about like college seniors do. Their problems will be getting use to the speed of the game, and the play book. They already know FB, and have experience in playing the game. They can learn our way quicker than folks want to give them credit for. DW4, Sammy Watkins, Scott, and on and on were playing pro FB with only 3 years of college ball. Talented coaches can have talented players ready pretty quickly. I think that we will have young guys that can play ready for next season. We played I think it was 21 freshman this year and played in the NC game. They don't have to be pro ready right from day 1 of the start of fall practice....

I think Fields will be a good one. We still have some targets that are still in play this recruiting cycle as well.

Guys like Alexander only come around like once every 10-20 years. He's a special, special player, just in terms of confidence, competitive spirit, technique, and work ethic.

will learn from Mac's example. Sure he has physical talent, but a lot of guys have that. He is a great student of the game and of his opponents as well though. He took and kept copious notes on all of the receivers he had to face, even ones on the Tiger team. When you combine that kind of work ethic and preparation with physical talent, it gives you the confidence and swagger that you need to dominate at that position.

Alexander is a special player. Not sure we will ever have another one like him. His intensity, determination and focus is what sets him apart from the rest.
