Saying farewell to Clemson today

I am moving my son from Clemson today. He starts his PhD program at Ole Miss. It is with melancholy I say goodbye and hope we will be back sooner than later. I’ve been taking my son to Clemson for games or visiting him here on campus for nearly 25 years. This is a tough day

I graduated in 82 and went first to law school then Army JAG It took me nearly 10 years to get back. I sure hope it’s not that long this time and I can get back home again soon.

I love this place and wherever my family may be we will always call Clemson home. Go Tigers

What is it with Ole Miss grabbing some of our best and brightest for post-grad work? One of my co-workers' son just graduated from Ole Miss with his J.D. after a B.S., M.A., and two years of being a grad assistant at Clemson.

You know I used to feel sorry for those people that never left Clemson, but after 30 years of living other places find myself wanting to retire there.

Something about those hills.
