It's like the day in class where the teacher makes you say something positive about each student.

In his defense, I think it was a 24" TV.

If he had waited around, I've given away two 32" TV's in the time since then. He could have had one of those.
A friend of my wife needed one because she was flat broke and had no money, and had a kid. Seemed worthwhile for the kid, if nothing else. I think I gave her a computer, too, but I'm not sure.
The other one, my buddy has a 1 car garage that he made a beer drinking vault, and needed a way to watch baseball that didn't involve his iphone. I still get to use it occasionally, so I figured it was worth it.

The pallet deck is one of my all time favorite stories.
I have to say though, the pine cone spackling today was some quality material too.

I had brunch with stubborn_tiger® and we talked about that happening five years ago.
I still find it hilarious that he went back to the company to steal his desk back

I had a key still, but the main building complex wasn't open on Saturday, so I had to social engineer my way into the building to get the "chest", which I was using as the L-shaped part of the desk where my computer was.
My TV in my living room sits on that chest to this day. It's a sturdy piece of furniture and it took me and my roommate to tote it out of the building

An old, stained, waterlogged mattress in his front yard with him sitting on it high AF and dressed in his clothes from the night before while his neighbors walked by and tried not to look at him.

Based on what I imagine his family income is, him passing on a $8 wall patch in favor of a pine cone is like a guy in a Bugatti pulling up to the used tire store.

I mean I even googled it, and google has not heard of spackling over a pinecone. Google. 0 results. Nothing. It's like it was invented out of pure thin air.
