Each ACC team does covid testing each Friday before a game...so is this the first time a player has tested positive on a Friday???

Better question:

Has FSU faced a team this year whose Friday tests yielded a positive??? Surely someone they played had a player test positive on Friday.

This situation was anticipated by the ACC. All teams agreed

to the protocol. Clemson followed the protocol. I don’t see how FSU can get away with this.

The problem is not having a player tested positive on Friday it is when the results are made. In this case, it was late Friday night before the results were announced and the player had already made the trip via plane with his teammates.

I still dont understand why test could not be made late Friday and have the results ready more quickly than normal.

Dabos offer to play Sunday or Monday should prove the Tigers were ready to play this game.
