Here is what we need to do in basketball...

The Grinnell systems, It would set us apart and draw interest:

Kind of like the spread offense but for basketball

About the only thing that would draw interest is the fact they are scoring on average about 107 points per game, but are giving up on average about 105.Points,however doesn't allways mean wins as Griinnell College is currently 4-6,3-4 at home and 1-2 on the road,
and in the midst of a 3 game losing streak.
Somehow what I saw on their web site doesn't evoke a lot of confidence from me.
Besides,I recall seeing a simillar style offense from Oliver Purnell.
How did that one work out?

Not that I'd be in favor of adopting such a system, but

I don't remember Purnell's offense looking anything like that. I remember offense created off of the full court press and points generated by turnovers and resulting breaks. lots of defensive pressure.

Only 5 conference titles in 25 years . . . .

and they're offering that as evidence that it doesn't work? Sheesh . . . just shows you how low our standards are and how we've just given up on basketball. What a crying shame.

BTW, How many does CU have in the last 25 years?

Never going to beat Duke and UNC unless you get 5* athletes like they do EVERY year. Play the same game with less talented players means a loss a huge majority of the time.

If you were a 5* player would you want to play for Brad? If you have many offers then they bypass CU.

Let's get this straight, no defense, jacking up 3's within 10 seconds, one player scoring 138 points in a game? Poor man's version of the 1980's Loyola Marymount system, in my opinion. I wouldn't want that at my school!
