Headsets--Auburn Game

Jun 30, 2016, 9:18 AM

there is a simple solution to the headset problem at Auburn re our first game. DRAD sends a letter to their AD informing him/her that it appears Auburn has a problem with its headset program in trying to keep them operational for the visiting team. We had this problem in the 2010 game and feel it cost us the game. Therefore, should this problem arise during our visit to Jordan Hare Stadium on Sept. 3, 2016 I am ordering our coach to take our team off the field until the problem is resolved to our satisfaction.

It is high time that your school live by the rules of good sportsmanship and should that not occur, we will cancel any and all scheduled athletic events between our schools for the foreseeable future.

At a minimum Auburn should have to take their comm down.

If one team can't use them, neither team should be able to.

If they're good at cheating

they won't use the same trick twice. They'll find some other way to try to throw us off our game.

I'm betting their 'tricks' aren't going to work against that team from the upstate!

By rule I believe that if the headset fails on one side the other must not use them either but what are rules for????

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think that's an NFL rule

not sure if it has an equivalent in the NCAA or not.

Was it at AllBarn last year where a team wanted to bring in

air conditioners like they had on their sideline and they claimed they didn't have enough power or some other hokey excuse?

Problem solved

In this day and age, do we not bring our own secure system?

Jun 30, 2016, 3:29 PM

Seems like it would be a semi easy setup. Just give us power and we'll take care of the rest
