Good to see Thomas Ray remembered for that amazing yardage in early 60's. Where is TR today?

In the Spring of 1968, I was a rising sophomore QB and went into the Spring game for my first experience with the starters. Our offensive coordinator, Whitey Jordan, yanked me back out after one play and chewed me out for not buckling my chin strap. I was so nervous, I didn't even realize it. To paraphrase Whitey, "I went through two seasons with a QB who refused to button his chin strap and I'll be ###### if I am gonna do it again."

I buckled up and he put me back in the game. Of course, Whitey was referring to Tommy Ray who refused to snap up his chin strap for his entire career.

The "Razor", as Coach Howard called him. His younger brother, James, signed and went to UGA as a QB, in 1969.

The "crowd" in Section GG looks pretty thin.
