Is really happy that he decommited from the U 3 years ago! Venables has him NFL ready. Not sure that would've happened in Coral Gables.

But Jeffrie Gibson has the same height and frame as Jayron. The safeties that the coaches are recruiting is insane! I would hate to be an O Coordinator trying to game plan for those match ups.

Was '90 when we had all of those killers flying around on D. Personalities like Kearse, Mac, Lawson, GJ, Boulware, TJ, etc. are what you HAVE GOT TO HAVE on that side of the ball. Sure there is going to be some jawing and a flag or two but I would not trade it for any D we had since '89 or '90 and that is including Bowers, Gaines, Keith Adams' crews. Those D's had some individual stalwarts but these last two have units that drink a cup of filthy before every game. Gang tackling, hard hitting swagger all day long.....my favorite part of the game by a mile, stoning folks.

EDIT: It was Bowers actually, not Adams. I am going to find the clip if I can.
