Jeff Scott to be interviewed at Georgia State??

Nov 18, 2016, 4:46 PM

Georgia State: Some names to watch for the Georgia State head coaching job include Arizona State OC Chip Lindsey, Auburn OC Rhett Lashlee, Clemson co-OC Jeff Scott and Stanford OC Mike Bloomgren, according to USA Today's Dan Wolken. Follow the latest on our Georgia State updates page.

No please Jeff!

I don't particularly want him to leave mainly for recruiting reasons. However - I think we'd be ok either way. I will say that I just made a comment last weekend that if we for some reason needed an OC I'd take Pitts OC in a heartbeat . I thought he called a heck of a game considering the talent difference.

Indeed. JMO, I would bet that Jeff would want to follow in his Dad's footsteps and become a HC. I think he'd be a good one.

We passed for 580 yards and scored 42 points. No, their D did not do a good job against us. Clemson beat Clemson, period.

Pitt's OC was also at NC State prior. In 2015 they scored 41 against us, second to only Alabama for points scored against us that year. Of course in 2014 we shut them out, so there is that.

We seem to be forgetting that Jeff Scott is a part of a CO-Offensive Coordinator team. Even if Scott leaves, we still have Elliot, who mainly calls the plays from the box. We wouldn't get another OC unless they both leave.

With that said, with the GA State opening, that would be a great first start for someone like Jeff Scott if he is to ever want a HC job in the future.

Wouldn't that be a pay cut? Just don't see him leaving.
