Greatest DL in CFB history?

Jan 16, 2018, 8:39 AM

This unit definitely has all of the necessary pieces to be the greatest of all time. A dominant starting 4, talented veterans and elite newbies to create depth. What great DLs of the past does this unit have to overcome?

'01 Miami and '03 LSU immediately come to mind, but I'm not sure I'd take either of those units over the NINETEEN DLmen that we have now.

2012 Florida had a nasty DL. Our current DL is a little different though b/c we have 4 massive men instead of 1 being the smaller speed rush guy. It looks like the Alabama DL's of the last 5 years.

I'm seeing four 1st round draft picks for 2019 NFL Draft. I'm ready for football season to arrive...going to be a stout defense with the additions of who we got also in the 2018 class!!

Under Duffie Daugherty, Bubba Smith and George Webster, I remember. Can't recall any others.

The draft picks coming off that D were pretty amazing. Mack Brown didn't have the O to get past FSU. Heels had 13 picks go in the 98 and 99 drafts and 12 were D. The 97 class had another 4 from the D.
