Explains the problem without taking sides.

I agree. Let's move on. Focus on games week to week.

Thanks for posting.

I've read so much misinformation, I'm tired of trying to respond to it. (On my FSU board.) Fans are fans. "My team is 100% right and the other team is a bunch of debased thugs."

Fine, let fans be fans.

Players and coaches need to look to one thing: Tee that tater up!

Ok first of all they incorrectly say AGAIN that Clemson traveled with a symptomatic player. Secondly, this was written by David Hale and Andrea Adelson. Extremely Clemson hostile.

I don't think this article was bad....

What I think the point is....the ACC had this potential landmine from the start. They knew this could happen....and had no plan to resolve.

As such, it became a he said she said.

Given that, I still have no understanding of why FSU decided not to play. Or at least play Monday after up to 3 more rounds of tests.

They implied that some programs have stricter standards now than were laid out in August by the ACC.

They cited a couple of travel examples that may have caused outbreaks, and implied that FSU is following these newer, more protective measures instead of the same old boring ones set out by the ACC three whole lifetimes ago in August, which is what Clemson is still doing.

Bottom line....

ACC allowed for this landmine to be in play. With no recourse.

It actually gave both sides of the story. It says that Clemson says the player was isolated while he had symptoms. It also says that FSU is claiming that they were told by Clemson that the player practiced with the team while he had symptoms.

Good article. Nice to read a non-sensationalized write-up.

I am curious about this:

“ Swinney fired back on his Monday night radio show, again lambasting FSU and building on a debunked story that, just a week earlier, Pitt had traveled with a sick player and Florida State still played the game. (According to a source at Pitt, that is not true.)”

Not true? Okay, so we know that a player was held out due to Covid-related issues, and it was announced about 3 hours before kick off. So what part is in accurate? Are they saying the player didn’t travel with the team? Or that he did not test positive? Why specifically was he held out?
