Georgia tailgating suggestions?

Can anyone give suggestions as to where to tailgate in Athens on the 30th? Want to tailgate at the car, like Clemson, and need southern exposure for the satellite. We plan to be there at 8 or 9 in the morning. Thanks!

Biggest advice is, don't do it. They are a very classless bunch, and if you think usuc has low rent fans, you will be even less impressed with ugay. I've been there many times, I've been to many of their non-Clemson away games, and I know what I'm talking about. Zero rating when it comes to high class.

Tailgating in Athens?

My suggestion is a Remington 1100 Automatic with #6 shot, 45 1911 automatic sidearm with a can of mace in one pocket. Take turns watching the car during the game and leave the women and kids in Clemson. That is one messed up culture down there.

Tailgate at someone else's car

That way when all of the windows get broken and tires get slashed you'll still have a ride home.

I come form Greenville to all the Georgia games. I would be glad to give you some recommendations if you would like. Feel free to shot me an email. The traffic flow can be tricky depending where you park. Most lots have the traffic sending you towards ATL. Also, depends on where your seats are and what gate you will be going in.

Have one UGA fan in your midst so you don't get attacked.

They are less likely to attack you if they see you socializing with one of their own.

I used to park here and they usually have game day spots available for $40 or so...(at $350 for the season, it rarely sells out). It is a great location to downtown and the stadium and has bathrooms, etc.

Ive been a season ticket holder since the last 90s and tailgated with a lot of opposing fans and have never seen opposing fans treated like some of you guys are describing.
Unless you are talking trash and starting something with UGA fans, most will be friendly or indifferent at the worst...

I'm from Georgia. Wife and mother have both lived in Athens.

Half of my family attended UGA. It happens...alot.
The vast majority of fans are just like any other group of fans (plus more arrogant) but UGA attracts a lot of aggressive trashy men who look for fights. They are the fringe minority... but they appear more often than anywhere else I've ever been. And that includes the Coots, who I hate. I don't exactly hate UGA.
I am joining my cousin (current UGA student and son of two UGA grads) at his tailgate. I expect to be treated well by them. But I also know there will be scores of low-lifes looking for trouble.

I'm looking for a spot that I can set a dumpster on fire to represent UGA's soft, physically weak football team. I'm not responsible if the fire gets out of hand and buildings start going up in flames.
