since you asked, I'll try to explain.
A politician (can't recall if Senator or Rep.... also can't remember where he's from) was giving an opening prayer and ended it by saying Amen.... and Awomen. To be more gender neutral. He was largely memed and mocked because of it. I think he's a ordained UMC pastor, IIRC.
