Gamecocks hired a Tiger

Apr 16, 2017, 8:31 PM

http://newsstand.clemson.edu/behind-the-camera-the-making-of-clemsons-viral-social-content/

Reallt hard to believe that a Clemson grad and someone who worked for the team can now work for South Carolina. I just could never bring myself to do it

Agreed. Believe this crosses some kinda line.***

Good pick up for them, but....

just glad it wasn't Jonathon Gantt. He seems to be the brains behind the whole strategy.

It's awful when you have to work to feed a wife and children

Apr 16, 2017, 9:02 PM

Fellows, Clemson is wonderful but it's God, family then Clemson if you're going to do life right.

I'd love to work for USuCk, I'd wear a Paw everyday and laugh all the way to the bank.

Tigers are designing their football building

Apr 16, 2017, 9:32 PM

design started as an intern project. Clemson-centric firm designed about half of their recent buildings

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Good luck with that ??

Apr 17, 2017, 5:38 AM

A 6-6/5-7 football team with nice videos. That should definitely turn the tide ??

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Good luck with that ??

Apr 17, 2017, 5:51 AM

how different is that than someone "growing up a coot fan" to go sit in Death Valley during the spring game, surrounded by Clemson fans, watching a team you grew up not liking and realizing you're going to be there 3 years or so playing football. I'm sure this Tiger "hire" is doing it for the money. What else could it be?

Re: Gamecocks hired a Tiger

Apr 17, 2017, 7:25 AM

To produce compelling video, you have to have a good story to tell. Clemson has great stories to tell. USuC - not so much.

My friend is on the videography crew and he said that Austin was easily the best media creator we've had. He made "The Dream" video. Upsetting.

I don't like this. I don't like this one bit.

Apr 17, 2017, 9:08 AM

It was inevitable, sure, but I still don't have to like it.

Our social media platform has been a huge factor in our success in recruiting, in my humble opinion. I don't like that the Gamecocks are hiring one of our prime content creators but like other posters have said, I'm grateful a lot of the leadership/management is still in place.
