Not old news but I would say w Booby Bowden it was time. His autopilot approach had them falling off toward the end of his career. It was time.

to do what his dad did, basically nothing. I don't remember the exact words, but something like him just riding up and down on his golfcart.

I knew when he said that, he wasn't up to the job. Especially being so young.
