K does. Or try to fit him in to his style?

LOL...he'd do like he did with Nuk Hopkins, hold a press conference to announce he's on the team but hasn't really earned anything over the other guys that have poured into the "system" and then play him sparingly.
Never thought I'd say much less think it but our BB program resembles a certain FB program I know of. Always going to finish mid to lower in the conference but sneak up and have a big season every once in a while. Still hoping these guys turn it around starting tomorrow. Beat PITT!

Foul calls would bench him at Clemson. Not at Duke.***

it doesn't matter, Zion was never coming to Clemson. Just used Clemson to keep locals off his back about going to Duke. Hard to turn down that kind of money.

Had to be the money! I mean why would he want to go play for one of the best basketball coaches ever, in one of the greatest programs in the country, with amazing fan support and a chance to win a National Championship?? Sure ...in one year he'll get paid millions but it had to the money! ??

No coach, not even K can coach that kid. You let him create, improvise, dominate. No matter the situation. Once in a life time player. Much like one we know.....

It doesn't matter. Kids that good only need some defensive

coaching in college. On the offensive end you just leave them alone and let them dominate. You could put Zion anywhere on the floor and he would dominate on the offensive end.

Or are you saying Coach K's system is to just turn everyone loose?

I think he is saying that Zion has more freedom than most Duke players usually have. He is a freak and Coach K sits back and let's him go more than Coach K normally would do. Zion will be in the NBA HOF one day if he can stay healthy. He is kind of like a Trevor Lawrence. They don't come along too often.

in saying Zion would be given plenty of freedom to score in Brownelk's system. I don't Brad has ever held back our best scorer's from being allowed to improvise and try and score. Then too, Brad wouldn't let him run amok and ruin the system, and by the same token he's not given that freedom at Duke either. Coack K's system is the same its always been.

I agree that Brad would let him go as well. The thing is Zion doesn't take many bad shots, so there is really no reason to reign him in anyway. Without looking, I think Zion is over a .700 fg percentage the last 10 or 15 games.
