Against Maryland, I'd say zero to not going to happen. Would be cool, but I don't see it .

If we and the coots win out, hard to imagine a rivalry game with 2 top ten schools not being gameday.

You know you've raised a real tiger fan when you ask your son what he wants his cub scout pinewood derby car to be and he says a Tiger!

I'd say they'll be at the Texas A&M vs. Alabama game.

Who grew up in stafford va I'm proud of his story and his connection with Clemson but is it a good thing with him having ptsd to have to keep reliving and retelling his story? I know how it is and you don't just bring the story back, you bring everything back with it. Pr is great but there are wounds there that need to be left to heal. I just hope it doesn't have an adverse effect on him.

Dunno. Seemed to help my dad when he finally talked about it. Took almost 20 years before he did but it seemed to put some demons to rest.

I had wondered the same thing myself

First off, please accept my gratitude for your service for our country.

DRod talks about how playing has been therapeutic for him. I'm glad to hear that but what about when his playing days are over? I don't have experience with PTSD but it is very hard on the person and those around him. That being said, all I can do is lift up a prayer to the Good Lord above to bring continued healing in his life through football and his friends and family being there for him when the tough times come.

Thanks for pointing this out. It never crossed my mind I don't think. I do see a very strong person in Daniel based on the CBS interview and other footage I've seen of him speaking. Doesn't make his job of dealing with PTSD any easier, though.

As a 100% total disable Vietnam vet. (Clemson Class of 1963), I'm sure thoughts come back to Daniel frequently and always will. But I feel sure he has made great strides in coping. He will never be totally be at peace, the experience and education he gets at Clemson and the love of the Clemson Family will forever support him in life.
