What was the play we ran with Humphries and Ellington?

Nov 21, 2014, 10:24 AM

I think it was in the 2012 FSU game? The ball was thrown to Humphries and right after he had turned and caught the ball, Ellington came full speed out of the backfield and Humphries flipped the ball to him as he came by. I haven't seen us run it since. Would love to see that ran with Davidson as the running back, because I think he is the fastest back we have and the play needs some speed.

I think you're right, it was FSU

Chad had so many tricks and misdirection plays in the first half of that game. Kept them guessing. We haven't seen anything like it since then, other than the Sammy INT against the coots.

the Sammy to Ellington was FSU.

Earlier against FSU in 2012, didn't Ellington throw a pass that was intercepted?

Just looked. It was Sammy who threw incomplete earlier and

Nov 21, 2014, 10:44 AM

then they went back to pretty much same play and completed to Ellington for TD.

yeah Sammy had Humphries wide open would have put us up 28-14 going into the half, but he overthrew him.

It was a hook and ladder on the second to last drive of the LSU game (the last TD drive to make it 24-22).
